Spring Butterfly Princess She is #5 in my Original butterfly series.

I made this Spring Butterfly Princes's wings to look like a garden of flower buds ready to blossom in a new spring meadow.  Perfectly fitting of a Spring Butterfly Princes.  She is an original and no others will be made of her.  She is a true "ooak" - One Of A Kind.

This sweet little Spring Butterfly Princess stands just 2 1/2 inches tall and is made in the Waldorf tradition by using natural materials.  She is made of a wire core covered in cotton floss.  She is bendable and poseable and can actually hold onto objects.  Her torso is made of  needle felted of merino wool and her hat and wings are made of wool felt and stitched together with teeny tiny blanket stitches.  I have decorated her wings with a zillion tiny french knots.  She has a wood beed head and two silver collor wire antenna.  Her blond braids are made of merino wool.
