| There are two 1 1/2 inch Juicy Bugs. They are the bright sunny Lemon Juicy Bug and the bright merigold Mango Juicy Bug. Also included is their pet Aphid who is needle felted out of wool. They are made in the waldorf tradation by using natural materials. They are made of a wire core covered in cotton Floss. They are bendable and poseable. They can wrap Their arms and legs around an object and actually hold on. They have wool felt wings and hats that have accent blanket stitching using a cotton thread . They also have wool needle felted bellys. Their head is a wood bead that has two silver color wire antenna. |

| Let me tell you a little about this Juicy Bug home. It started it's life as a plain wood unfinished bird house. I however saw it in the store as a Juicy Bug fairy home. I just knew I had to transform it into this beautiful home that it has become. I started by cutting out an entrance and two windows that are made to look as if it were hand carved by a Juicy Bug. Then I wood burned all the cut surfaces, "the entrance and the window frames". I also wood burned the grassy scene that wraps around the entire exterior. All the painting is done with a translucent acrylic paint for a watercolor effect. I wanted the paint to have a soft soothing natural effect. The floor of this home is covered in a soft wool felt. I also added some tiny pebbles around the primiter of the house for another natural feel. The Cottage is 8 inches tall and 5 1/2 inces across the floor. |
