This set is made of wool felt and other natural materials when available.  I do use a a flexable plastic that is sandwiched between the wool felt in the tents for strength and durability.  I hand stitched this set with lots of teeny tiny stitches.  The Camping Bugs are just over 1 1/2 inches tall and are made of a wire core covered in cotton floss.  They are bendable and poseable and can actually hold onto objects.  Their  torsos have been needle felted of merino wool and their hats & vests are made of wool felt and are stitched together with teeny tiny blanket stitches.  They have wood bead heads and wire antenna.

Here they are on an adventure in their canoe. I wonder what new things they will discover today?

The sides of their tents open for easy hand access.  They love having their own tents.  It seems one of them snores.  Hum, I wonder which one?

Yum! Yum! Fresh fire roasted marshmallows!  The marshmallows are tiny glass beads on wire prongs.  The campfire is made of needle felted wool and measures 1 inch across.

This awsome tree is just over 5 1/2 inches tall.  This tree has many uses. Swinging a hammock on, climbing, and a little extra shade on a hot day.

Ahh, what a relaxing place to take a nap. I wonder what this cute Camping Bug is thinking of?

This cute tent measures 2 3/4 inches by 3 inches.  It has 3 access openings, front, side, and back.  So many posibilities!

These sweet Camping Bugs love to explore new places and prefer to camp off the beaten path.  Here they are sporting their sun hats and camping vests perfect atire for any camping adventure.

They each have a sleeping bag.

A Camping Bugs favorite way to spend a day is canoeing.  This cute canoe is made of wool felt and measures just over 3 inches long.  The Paddle is made of wood and wool felt.

The cobble stones are made of wool felt.  The largest measures just over 2 inches and the smallest measures 1/2 an inch.  They can be placed around the stream or made into a path.  They have lots of possibilities

The play mat with a stream is made of wool felt and compleatly hand stitched around all edges using a blanket stitch.  The mat measures approximately  13 inches by 15 inches.

The needle felted campfire measures 1 inch wide. Too cute!

Although these dolls are well made they are not intended for children under 4, or children who still put objects in their mouth.
