Blue Butterfly Father & Baby

#3 In My Butterfly Series

This is  a 3 1/2 inch blue butterfly and his baby.  He is bendable and poseable.  He don't stand on his own but is eaisly proped up for play.  His arms and legs can be wraped around objects for holding on.  I love to make these dolls so each one is made with a lot of tenderloving care and attention to detail. He is the 3rd in my butterfly series.  There won't be any more made of him in this size.  He is an original.  I am very proud of this little guy.  He is very well made all the way down to the little white french knots on his wings.  all peices are blanket stitched together with some chain stitching accents.  They are so cute! The Daddy buterfly has black and sky blue wings made of wool felt.  His midsection is made of tightly needle felted wool.  He is wearing a matching wool felt hat with accent stitching.  He has a wood beed head with black wire antenna.  The baby is wraped in a sky blue blanket made of the same wool felt.  The blanket is not removeable.  The baby is made of black tightly needle felted wool.  It also has a wood beed head with a little tuft of blue wool hair.  The baby also has black wire antenna.
